College of Notre Dame of Maryland
College of Notre Dame of Maryland is a Catholic, liberal arts college committed to educating women as leaders. The College offers programs at the baccalaureate, master's and doctoral levels. The Women's College offers programs in 27 majors to traditional-age college women. Women and men study part-time in Accelerated College (with programs in nursing, business and elementary education) and through Weekend College. Graduate programs in nursing, education, management and other fields also serve women and men. The College's first Ph.D. program, in instructional leadership for changing populations, graduated its inaugural class in 2008. In fall 2009, the College will welcome students to its School of Pharmacy, the first on the campus of a women's college in the United States, and to a new School of Education.
